Three cheers to the Rockies for hiring Bud Black as their new manager. I’m pumped for the 2017 season. I have only one request of the front office — I’m talking to you, Dick Monfort and Jeff Bridich — please keep your mitts off Mr. Black and let him do his job as he sees fit. Your micromanaging modus operandi has driven off more than one decent manager and has for too long been a large part of the Rockies’ problem.
