The third of in the robbery and murder of a man last year in northwest Denver has been convicted in the case, prosecutors announced Monday.
Derek Webb, 29, was found guilty of felony murder, burglary and aggravated robbery of 61-year-old Samuel Grady in the city’s Regis neighborhood. The Denver District Attorney’s Office says the verdict was handed down late last week by a jury that deliberated for two days.
Authorities say Webb, , went to Grady’s home on the 4900 block of Green Court where they shot him before stealing his wallet and truck.
Chad Baluska, 39, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case and is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 6.
Eric Fuhs, Grady’s 26-year-old nephew, was found guilty of first-degree murder, burglary and aggravated robbery in the killing and was sentenced last month to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Webb faces a sentence of life in prison without the possibility parole when his penalty is handed down on Dec. 16.
