I was so disappointed when Donald Trump was elected but made up my mind to give him the chance that Hillary Clinton and President Obama both said he deserves. But now I am astounded by Trump’s selection of Steve Bannon as a close aide in the White House. Bannon is a racist, a bigot and a white supremacist. We know that because of what he embraced on the Breitbart News website when he was chief executive there. There are multiple places to read for yourself as to his views and what he hopes for the country. He is, in a word, un-American.
Please, Mr. Trump, rethink this disastrous choice.
