Re: Nov. 19 letter to the editor.
Letter-writer Chuck Coltharp referred to Hillary Clinton as immoral and unethical. Coltharp clearly is quite selective in his information, as the charges against Secretary Clinton were just that, charges, ones made by her opponent. On the other hand, Donald Trump has a lengthy list of documented immoral and unethical behaviors. There is insufficient space to enumerate all the proven transgressions, but for starters: cheating employees and business partners, defrauding students at his university, and by his own admission, being a serial adulterer and sexual predator. Most destructive to our democracy, Trump propagated a deliberate lie about the birthplace of our president, an action for which he has never apologized.
I fear for our nation, as Coltharp and other Americans chose to overlook major moral transgressions by their standard-bearer, then endeavored to criminalize errors by the one they didn’t support. For their obtuseness, we shall all pay, and dearly.
