Authorities in Colorado Springs have identified a 21-year-old man slain in a Saturday shooting that also left another man critically wounded.
Marcus Williams was found dead Saturday night inside a home on the 2000 block of Carmel Drive. He died of a gunshot wound in what has been ruled a homicide, according to police.
Investigators say they also found a wounded man in his 40s inside the home who was taken to a hospital in critical condition. An update on his condition was not provided Tuesday.
Two men — 25-year-old Richard Allon Spanks and 24-year-old Haywood Eugene Miller Jr. — are being sought on suspicion of first-degree murder in the case.
Both Miller and Spanks should be considered armed and dangerous, police say.
Police have not said what motivated the shooting.
Williams’ death marks the 19th homicide in Colorado Springs this year. At this time in 2015, the city had 24 homicides.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000.
