Interview with Mark Huebner, president

Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I started as an intern in college at a print broker, and in 2008 I started my own company.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: We are one of the only companies in the mountain west that has high speed, large format dye sublimation and full-scale cut and sew manufacturing all in house. So basically we can make most things from textiles starting with the rolls through the finishing.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Getting to see all the unique ideas that the people of the U.S. are coming up with and being able to be a part of them in some small way.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Like most small businesses, it is always challenging to keep up as you are growing. We have seen steady year-to-year growth since opening the doors and invested heavily in business growth last year. Now, we are managing keeping up with all the great customers.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: We also have our own cut and sew line for larger volume customers in Juarez, Mexico. Though we try to keep most of our manufacturing here at our facility in Denver, there are a few customers who are too large to sew in Denver. In those cases we will dye sublimate here in Denver and finish in Mexico. It is definitely our alternative option to China.
