Police are investigating the death of a teenage boy whose body was discovered Tuesday in a Colorado Springs apartment complex.
Just after 3 p.m., police received a call about a boy who was shot inside an apartment on the 400 block of S. Murray Blvd.
Colorado Springs police spokesman Lt. Howard Black said the teenager had suffered “traumatic injuries,” but could not say exactly how the boy died.
Police have identified a suspect in the shooting, but as of 5 p.m. had not made an arrest, Black said.
No further details were available.
It’s police’s second death investigation in about 12 hours – earlier Tuesday, officers found two women dead in a home – in addition to overnight armed robberies, car thefts and a car chase where culprits shot at officers that may be related.
