No. 1 Pomona (12-1) and No. 3 Valor Christian (10-3) meet on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mile High in a rematch of last season’s 5A title game.
The Panthers are coming off a 24-7 win over Regis Jesuit in the semifinal and are looking for revenge after falling 29-26 in dramatic fashion in last year’s championship, while Valor Christian is making its eighth straight title appearance and beat Cherry Creek 10-7 in the semifinals on a last-second field goal.
