Pueblo police are investigating a fatal Friday morning shooting that is being considered a homicide.
Officers were called about 9 a.m. on reports of shooting on the 500 block of West 23rd Street. There, police found a person who had been shot.
First responders tried to render aid to the victim, but were unsuccessful.
“A suspect vehicle described as a light-colored white or gray car was seen leaving the area,” Pueblo police said in a news release. “Detectives are on scene as this is an active and ongoing investigation.”
