The U.S. Postal Service has added Sunday office hours and package delivery in the Denver metro area to help handle the flurry of holiday parcels.
USPS is expecting a record 750 million packages this holiday season, up more than 12 percent from last year, the postal service said.
In the Denver metro area, six Post Offices will offer full retail operations Dec. 11 and 18 while more than a dozen others will be open for package pickup only. Many will have extended Saturday hours, as well.
Many Denver area neighborhoods will also see mail carriers making package deliveries on Sundays between now and Christmas.
