But on his first carry here Sunday Forsett fumbled. The turnover led to a Tennessee field goal and an early 10-0 deficit for the Broncos.
“The first carry, I hate losing the ball,” Forsett said. “That bring the whole day down for me. We got the loss, so itap a tough one. I’ll be better next week, but just an all-around tough day.”

Forsettap fumble snapped his streak of 950 carries without a fumble. He last fumbled in a game in 2009.
The Broncos failed to run the ball well, again, with just 10 yards on four carries between Forsett and No. 1 back Devontae Booker in the first quarter. They finished with only 18 yards rushing as coach Gary Kubiak went to an all-out passing attack to try and catch up in the second half.
“We have to be more effective,” Forsett said. “We have to start faster. Itap just a combination of a little bit of everything.”
Receiver feats. Although the Broncos’ fourth-quarter rally fell short, and each had 100 or more receiving yards. Sanders had 100, in his 100th regular-season game no less, and one touchdown. Thomas had 126 receiving yards, tying (34) for the second-most 100-yard receiving games since 2011. ( leads with 36 100-yard games).

Inactives. Two weeks after he muffed a pair of punts, was listed among the Broncos’ seven inactive players Sunday against the Titans. Norwood was replaced by Kalif Raymond as the team’s leading punt-returner at Jacksonville.
Joining Norwood on the inactive list for Sunday’s game was inside linebacker , who is dealing with a hamstring injury, quarterback Austin Davis, cornerback , long snapper Casey Kreiter (calf) and offensive linemen Connor McGovern and Billy Turner.
