An Adams County inmate on Tuesday disappeared from a Brighton cemetery.

Joshua Dean Seme, 39, a jail inmate on work duty at Elmwood Cemetery, 500 S. Fourth Ave., walked away from his detail, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Seme, who is serving a jail sentence for assault and domestic violence, was discovered to be missing at about 2 p.m., the sheriff’s office said. Seme’s birthday was Monday.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office or 911.
