Friend steals TV. On Nov. 4, a man called Lakewood police after he returned home to the 5500 block of West 16th Avenue and found his TV missing. The victim had a friend staying with him and the door was locked when he arrived home. He was unable to reach the friend via phone. The friend’s family members said the friend had a drug problem and that the victim should not have let him stay at his home.

Trespassed man returns. Police responded to an incident involving a trespassed man Dec. 2 at the Western Convenience Store, 1301 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. The suspect had been told by police to leave the area, but returned 30 minutes later and began harassing customers outside. The suspect admitted to hanging out outside thinking he just wasn’t allowed inside.

Drunk man breaks hotel window. On Dec. 2, police responded to the Crossland Economy Studios, 715 Kipling St., Lakewood, after an intoxicated man broke a window at the hotel. Police contacted the suspect and a woman in the room. The suspect was clearly drunk and became aggressive when police asked for his number.

He was thirsty. A man was arrested by police Nov. 28 after he was caught shoplifting at Walmart, 7455 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood. The suspect was observed by loss prevention selecting two chocolate milks and then attempting to walk out of the store. When contacted, the man said he had no money and was thirsty.

Stolen bike found on Craigslist. On Dec. 1, a woman called police after her bike had been stolen off a porch in the 13000 block of West Cedar Drive, Lakewood. The victim saw the bike listed on Craigslist for $5 and had been in contact with the owner. She had set up a meeting with the seller and was to contact dispatch when meeting the suspect.
