Re: Dec. 11 news story.
I see that on the Sunday political shows, President-elect Donald Trump said he wasn’t taking the daily intelligence briefing because “I’m, like, a smart guy.” I would point out to the future president that being “like” a smart guy is not actually the same thing as being a smart guy.
Trump needs to sit in on the briefings. Even if he is a smart guy, he doesn’t know everything these guys know because he hasn’t studied it in the detail they have. He must learn to listen and ask questions, not ignore their information just because he doesn’t want to hear what it has to say.
