President Barack Obama blames the "highest level of the Russian government for hacks," as he speaks during a news conference on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, in the briefing room of the White House in Washington.

Re: Dec. 16 news story.

I am saddened by the vicious, vitriolic behavior of Democrats towards Donald Trump since the election. Aided by a complicit media, Democrats are showing their true colors in their endless efforts to de-legitimize Trump’s election. They are acting like spoiled children who did not get their entitled outcome. Worse yet, they are sending a clear message that they have no regard for our democratic processes and are more interested in grabbing power by any means rather than in building bridges to work with a new administration. It is their way or the highway. Our republic is in trouble, and as long as President Obama continues to enter the fray and disrespect his successor, his minions will continue their tantrum. I currently have little faith in our government to do what is best for this country. Like it or not, our only hope is that Trump is successful in “draining the swamp.”
