To the person who dropped the $100 bill on the opening day at Mary Jane in Winter Park: Thank you on behalf of those blessed by your loss.

Despite the offer from a ski patroller to “split it” with me, I chose to share your donation that belonged to neither him nor me with some who will most appreciate it. Your loss is being quartered and shared with children via the Denver Boys and Girls Club, those without homes via Habitat for Humanity, the victims of an evil disease and served by the American Cancer Society, and an institution serving all God’s people, World Vision.

Please find joy this holiday season that your initial dismay at missing a Benjamin can now be replaced with gratefulness for being allowed to help others.
