Peabody award-winning investigative reporter Marshall Zelinger is leaving Denver7 after finishing his last day Friday.
Zelinger said in an email Friday night that he will be heading to 9News, which announced Friday that sports anchor.
Because local TV stations have non-compete contracts, Zelinger will stay off the air for six months, working behind the scenes and joining “Next with Kyle Clark.” Eventually, he’ll return to daily investigative stories, he said.
