Getting your player ready...

Offense — B

This was one of the Broncos’ best offensive performances of the season. They showed promise in the running and passing games. Denver’s much-maligned offensive line had one of their better games, too.

Defense — A

The Broncos’ defense played with a high level of pride and intensity during a game that didn’t mean much in the playoff picture. Denver allowed 221 total yards and held Oakland to 2-of-11 on third down conversions.

Special teams — C

Kalif Raymond’s decision-making, including returning three punts inside the Broncos five-yard line, needs some work. Finding a returner will likely be a need going into next season. Brandon McManus missed a field goal.

Coaching — B+

Gary Kubiak had his team ready to defend home field and give a champion’s finish to his final game as head coach. The Broncos offense looked spry and Wade Phillips’ defense got after the Raiders’ inexperienced backup quarterbacks.

Game balls

1. Devontae Booker, who had his best performance as a pro in the final game of his rookie season. Booker ran strong and finished with 109 total yards and two touchdowns.

2. Von Miller, who forced a fumble and had consistent pressure on the Raiders quarterbacks all game. He may not win it, but he’s a worthy contender for Defensive Player of the Year.

3. Aqib Talib and Broncos no-fly zone, who completely dominated the game with their tight coverage. The Raiders had just 50 yards in the first half, only 29 passing.
