The 10 most anticipated restaurant openings in Denver are all within three square miles of downtown (except one in Stapleton, which is its own enclave). The whole thing is a metaphor for the last election.

Basically, if you don’t live downtown in the new gentrified areas with neat names like LoDo and RiNo and “SoDaSoPa,” you’re just inconsequential. You’re just a hick hillbilly that doesn’t understand haute cuisine and molecular gastronomy with your $35 martini while you discuss social progressiveness. And the Democrats are still scratching their heads.
