Re: “The Alabama Voter,” Jan. 13 editorial cartoon.
The “cartoon” published in The Denver Post regarding Alabama voters is ignorant and racist and in no way should have seen the light of day, especially in Colorado’s largest newspaper.

The gratuitous, classless smear of the people of Alabama in the Danziger cartoon reminded me of the ignorance shown in third-rate rags in the earlier part of the 20th century. Whomever was put in charge choosing the cartoon needs some introspection to discover their biases.
