The new is what’s been missing in our lives
From the category “Things we didn’t know we needed but now wonder how we ever lived without,” we present the new Il Posto. Granted, we never really thought anything was wrong with its old digs in Uptown, but now that we’ve witnessed the lovely, sleek spot on 26th and Larimer, we wonder how we (and the restaurant) ever got by in the smaller space.
“I love the new space because it’s open, tall and bright,” chef and owner Andrea Frizzi said. “I love being in RiNo; I call it Denver 2.0. We are still Il Posto, just in a new and more beautiful space.”
The menu is very similar to its previous incarnation, just with a few new additions thanks to the larger kitchen. The primihousemade pastas are always awesome (try the new pappardelle), but the secondi proteins of tuna, steak, chicken and scallops are all current standouts. We won’t tell if you order all four.
