One arrest made Friday night in Denver as second wave of inauguration protesters obstruct traffic

Denver police arrested one protester after a group of people obstructed traffic on several Denver streets Friday night.

The police alerted motorists to the protesters, who surged into Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard at about 7 p.m. The protest went until about 9 p.m.

No injuries were reported, police spokesman John White said. The one arrest was made on Champa Street between 15th and 16th streets.

This demonstration was unrelated to , White said.
