Shouldn’t our lawmakers be working on a plan to improve the Affordable Care Act rather than fighting over replacing it? The goal should be to make sure that as many people as possible have coverage. More than 400,000 Coloradoans now have coverage thanks to the ACA, and if it is dismantled before there is an equitable replacement, many of our citizens will suffer. It doesn’t matter if it is a plan proposed by a Republican or a Democrat. It only matters that it serves the people of this country. The infrastructure for the ACA is already in place. Just make it better.
