Brighton police have identified the 26-year-old Henderson man killed Sunday night in a single-vehicle, rollover wreck on U.S. 85.

Caleb Blake Jones was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just north of Bromley Lane.

Police say their preliminary investigation shows the blue Jeep Cherokee driven by Jones was traveling north on the highway when it began to drift to the left.

“Jones appears to have over-corrected for the problem,” police said in a news release, “causing the vehicle to roll several times. Jones was ejected onto northbound lanes and pronounced dead at the scene.”

U.S. 85 was closed for several hours because of the crash.
