The Araphoe County Coroner’s office identified the man whose body was found under a tarp Tuesday at the intersection of Clarkson Street and Layton Avenue in Cherry Hills.
The coroner’s office identified Travis Hartsock, but did not specify his cause of death pending autopsy results.
A woman walking her dog spotted a shoe near the tarp and called police. Officers responded and discovered the body.
Cherry Hills Village police and the Englewood Police Department are investigating Hartsock’s death.
Officials from both departments said they believe there is no danger to area residents.
