Douglas County Crime Blotter: Man forces his tongue down a woman’s throat, she calls police

Unwanted kissing. On Jan. 7, sheriff’s deputies responded to a sexual assault call at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 980 Sgt. Jon Stiles Drive, Highlands Ranch. The victim said she was sitting at the bar when a man she didn’t know grabbed her shoulders, pulled her toward him and stuck his tongue down her throat. The suspect fled the bar but was found a few blocks away. The victim decided not to press charges.

Vehicle trespass. A man woke up Jan. 12 to find someone had entered his garage in the 6000 block of Blue Ridge Drive, Highlands Ranch, and gone through his car, stealing his garage remote, a phone charger and vehicle registration. He thought he closed the garage the night before but couldn’t be sure.

Pushy ex. The residents of a home in the 9500 block of Spruce Mountain Drive, Larkspur, called police Jan. 16 to report one of their ex boyfriends had tried to force his way into the house, but fled when he heard police had been called. He had called earlier in the day and the victim told him he wasn’t welcome. It was possible he was coming down from drugs when he tried to break-in.

Robber busted. Police drew their guns to gain the compliance of a suspect in a robbery at an undisclosed business in the 11400 block of South Twenty Mile Road, Parker, Jan. 14. The suspect faces theft and menacing charges.

Swerving driver arrested. Police stopped a driver near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Twenty Mile Road, Parker, Jan. 12 after witnessing them swerving between lanes. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
