Four suspects used a shotgun to rob a convenience store in northeast Colorado Springs early Monday, making off with cash, retail items and even the sales clerk’s car.
The hold-up happened about 3:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of Research Parkway, according to Colorado Springs police. The clerk told investigators that of the four suspects, at least one of them was armed with a shotgun.
“The suspects appeared to arrive on foot,” police said in a news release. “However they took the store clerk’s key and got away in his vehicle.”
