Violent trespasser. A former employee was told by police to leave the premises of the Chase Bank at 5734 S. Prince St, Littleton, on Jan. 5 but came back a short time later. When officers returned he cursed at them and took a fighting stance. He swung at and missed one officer and later tried to bite the officer’s thumb while struggling against being handcuffed. Officers punched him in the back to gain his compliance and arrested him.

Theft case. A security guard at the Apple store at 7301 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, handcuffed a man Jan. 7 after watching him take a new phone case out of a box in the store, put the case on his phone, replace it with an older case and put the box back on the shelf. Police cited the suspect for shoplifting.

Jeep jacked. A man’s Jeep disappeared from outside his apartment in the 5600 block of South Bannock Street, Littleton, Jan. 9. There was no broken glass or other signs it had been broken into. He said his ex-girlfriend had a spare key but officers did not see the car when they drove by her residence.

Hotel assault. A man was arrested at the Hyatt Place Denver Tech Center, 8300 E. Crescent Parkway, Greenwood Village, Jan. 14 after he shoved his girlfriend into a wall in one of the rooms during an argument, possibly breaking her nose.

Bike boosted. A man’s bike was stolen Jan. 9 from inside a private storage unit at his apartment building, 7600 Landmark Way, Greenwood Village. The storage unit, inside the building’s parking structure, was undamaged but the padlock was missing. The bike was worth $6,135.
