No. 7 Valor Christian hosts No. 2 Evergreen in Jeffco League girls basketball at 7 p.m. on Saturday night in another rematch of the 2016 Class 4A state championship game.

The two-time defending champion Eagles (11-8, 6-4) were bested 48-41 by the Cougars (18-1, 9-1) in the teams’ first meeting this season on Jan. 18.

Seniors Tess Boade and Mary Newland pace Valor Christian offensively, while Evergreen is led by sophomore power forward Claudia Dillon’s 13.7 points per game.
