Re: “” Feb. 6 editorial.
The editorial in your newspaper that included “Lying Trump” in the headline has me perplexed. When did you ever have a “Lying Obama” headline? When he earned four Pinocchios for saying, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”? When he, his secretary of state and his U.N. ambassador all lied (by implication, at least) that the four American deaths in Benghazi were caused by an “offensive video” that was directed against “Mohammed and Islam,” now proven to be a lie?
While no such invective was forthcoming against Obama, you have already after three weeks resorted to such aspersions against the current president. What will you come up with in a month? A year? Will, after four years of liberal agitation, you be printing four-letter descriptors?

I applaud your courage and steadfastness in calling out the Trump administration for its myriad and dangerous missteps, lies, insults and verbal assaults. Your readers and all Americans need to hear the truth, and you have unfailingly shown how terrifying and harmful his knee-jerk rants against judges, journalists, government officials and heads of state worldwide continue to be — and this in a mere three weeks. Thank you for continuing your crusade for truth, decency and democracy.
