As a search for a woman missing from Boulder continued Wednesday, body remains were found in a dumpster in Oklahoma, not far from where the missing woman’s infant daughter was found with the girl’s father, who was taken into custody.
Boulder police have been looking for 25-year-old Ashley Elizabeth Mead, who was when she didn’t show up for work. She was last seen Sunday.
Mead’s daughter, 1-year-old Winter Daisy Mead, who also was missing, was found Wednesday afternoon near Tulsa. Her father, Adam Densmore, 32, was arrested on suspicion of violation of a custody agreement.

Human remains were found Wednesday in a dumpster at a gas station near a Walmart in Okmulgee. Oklahoma authorities contacted Boulder police about the discovery in the dumpster.
“We were made aware; they contacted us,” said Shannon Cordingly, Boulder police spokeswoman.
She said it’s too early to determine if the remains are of Ashley Mead.
Police in Okmulgee said Wednesday that the remains appear to be that of a woman, according to the Tulsa World.
쳾ܱ said his investigators believe the remains may be related to a case in another jurisdiction.
Prentice did not say where the other case is centered or what the case is about, but he did say a suspect was in custody.
Tulsa and Okmulgee are less than 40 miles apart.
