
The Boulder Police Department announced Thursday that Adam Densmore will face first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of a Boulder mother who was reported missing Tuesday.
The department sent two detectives to Oklahoma Thursday morning following the discovery of human remains in a trash bin not far from where the was found with the girl’s father on Wednesday.
Adam Densmore has been served a warrant for 1st Degree Murder for the death of Ashely Mead.

Ashley Elizabeth Mead, 25, and her daughter, Winter Daisy Mead, were reported missing in Boulder on Tuesday. On Wednesday, police in Oklahoma found Winter Mead with her father, Adam Densmore, in Oklahoma outside of Tulsa, but Ashley Mead remained missing. Densmore, 32, was arrested on suspicion of violating a custody agreement.

Boulder police spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly said the human remains discovered in a dumpster not far from where Densmore was arrested have not yet been identified, but that police are presuming Mead is dead.
