Woman caught peeing in parking lot. On Feb. 7, a woman was seen by staff at Walmart, 7455 W. Colfax Ave., with her pants down and urinating in the parking lot. The woman was peeing next to a light pole and then fell down and hit her head on the pole. The reporting party said she saw the woman was trying to pee closer to the building when she was first contacted by staff.

Basement flooded. A woman called Lakewood police on Feb. 9 after she found her backyard faucet turned on, which caused her basement to flood in the 100 block of South Harlan Street. The woman suspected that her ex-boyfriend may have left the faucet on, not with malicious intent, but as a ploy to get her back.

Counterfeit bills reported. On Feb. 8, an employee at Walmart, 440 Wadsworth Blvd., called police after he was given three counterfeit bills by a customer. The employee had two 20-dollar bills and a 5-dollar bill that he said he knew were counterfeit. The suspect left the store when the accusation was made.

Road rage dispute. A woman called police on Feb. 7 after she was involved in an altercation with a man stemming from a traffic dispute where the woman claimed the man was trying to run her off the road near West Sixth Avenue and South Simms Street. The woman then claimed the man threatened her with a screwdriver when she confronted him outside of the car. The man denied threatening her said he had grabbed the screwdriver to protect himself, but thought he had put it down. The man had a suspended license stemming from a DUI and was arrested.
