Why are Colorado taxpayers footing the bill for state Attorney GeneralCynthia Coffman to sue Boulder County over its effort to rationally develop oil and gas within its borders? Talk about leveling the playing field: Renewable resources, such as wind and solar, always have to follow county and local regulations;they have no statewide oil and gas conservation commission or the state attorney general to advocate for for their development.
