No. 32 Rangeview hosts No. 33 Mountain Range on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in first-round action of the 2017 Class 5A boys basketball state tournament.

The Raiders (15-8, 10-0 East Metro) are a deceivingly good team, with six of their eight losses coming to Centennial League squads and the other two, to Rock Canyon and George Washington, being equally respectable setbacks. Rangeview looks to senior Matt Johnson (20.7 points per game) to catalyze the team when it matters most.

Meanwhile, the Mustangs (16-7, 6-6 Front Range) have also shown promise this season, including a signature victory over Rock Canyon as well as winning four of five games down the regular season stretch. Mountain Range is paced by the scoring trio of senior Tyler Smith, junior Mike Polson and senior Max Castillo.

Listen to the game live on Post Preps Radio, and relive the action with our archived broadcast immediately following the game. Kyle Barton and Justin Melka have the call at 7 p.m. from Rangeview High School.

This broadcast has concluded. Final score: Rangeview 72, Mountain Range 64.
