It’s going to be one hard-hitting weekend when kicks off its 11th season inside the Fillmore Auditorium with a double-header.
Watch Havoc, Carmen Slamdiego and others lap and jam their way around the rink with all the smashing excitement that roller derby brings with it. The event will feature four of Denver’s seasoned home teams (with names like Sugar Kill Gang and United States Pummeling Service) battling with the newbies at 6 and 8 p.m. Kids? The group considers itself “family friendly, with an edge.”
Doors to the Fillmore open at 5:30 p.m, 1550 Clarkson St. Tickets are $22 at the door; kids 12 and under are free.
