Shots were fired as police officers attempted to arrest a woman Friday night in Elbert County but no one was injured.

Officers pulled over Jasmine Faith Delores Johnson, 26, on Interstate 70 east of the Agate exit on reports that she had threatened to kill police officers. Shots were fired but it is unclear who was responsible at this time.

Johnson is being held without bond at the Arapahoe County Detention Center on a previous warrant out of Broomfield for telephone harassment. The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said additional charges will likely be filed.

Johnson pled guilty to a felony charge of menacing with a real or simulated weapon and a misdemeanor assault charge in 2009, according to court documents.
