Darius Rucker, former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman and current country star, is coming to Colorado this summer.
And not just any old venue. The Grizzly Rose is great and all, but Rucker, who recently topped the charts with a popular cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel,” has a grander stage in mind.
On August 1, Rucker will play Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Lauren Alaina will perform in support. Tickets are $39.50-$69.50 and go on sale March 10 at 10 a.m. via .
For those who don’t remember Rucker from the Blowfish ǰthe Billboard charts, he also starred in a country-fried Wendy’s commercial right around the time he went Nashville, which will be forever burned in my brain.
