No. 1 Eaglecrest (23-4) and No. 3 George Washington (25-2) meet on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. at the Denver Coliseum in a Class 5A state championship game laden with storylines.

The Raptors are chasing their second title in John Olander’s final game as head coach and star senior Colbey Ross’ final game in an Eaglecrest uniform.

Meanwhile, Jon’il Fugett, Calvin Fugett and the Patriots eye their sixth title but first since 1994, when legend Chauncey Billups led them to the Class 6A crown.
