Oregon guard Justine Hall, a 2014 graduate of Regis Jesuit and that season’s Gatorade state Player of the Year, is the last former Colorado preps women’s player left dancing in the 2017 NCAA Division I women’s basketball tournament.
As a high school senior, Hall led the Raiders to the Class 5A state championship and the highest national finish of any Colorado girls team when Regis Jesuit ended up ranked No. 3 in the USA Today poll.
She originally attended Purdue before transferring to Oregon midway through her sophomore year, where as a junior this season she’s played in 27 games and provides a scoring spark for the Ducks off the bench.
No. 11 Oregon is the second-lowest seed remaining in the tournament and is making its first-ever Sweet 16 appearance. The Ducks take on No. 3 Maryland on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
