A man robbed a bank Friday afternoon in Westminster, police said.

The robbery happened at about 5:55 p.m. at TCF Bank, 7206 Federal Blvd., according to a police department news release.

The robber gave a note demanding money to a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were used in the robbery, police said.

The robber is described as a white man in his early- to mid-40’s, about 6-feet 3-inches tall, weighing about 190 pounds, with a brown goatee. He was wearing a red shirt, dark colored pants, a tan jacket and red baseball cap at the time of the robbery.
