A 61-year-old Loveland man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and domestic violence Sunday after his wife reported he tried to smother her with a pillow while she was sleeping.
Loveland police said they responded to a call from the woman at about 2:27 a.m. Sunday from the 1400 block of Fleta Court.
The police found the woman and her husband, Richard Latimer, according to information sent by Sgt. Jeff Pyle. Latimer was cooperative, police said. They took Latimer to the Larimer County jail.
The woman was not injured, Pyle said. Police declined to release more information, saying they are still investigating.
