COLORADO SPRINGS — Authorities are searching for a man who entered a Colorado Springs convenience store wearing a panda bear ski mask and robbed the clerk at gunpoint.
the suspect fled after leaving the 7-Eleven with $200 Saturday night.
Officer Marvin Forbes had been on patrol in the area when he was flagged down by someone who witnessed the robbery.
Forbes and other officers helped secure the area and used police dogs to try to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful.
Police say the suspect may have fired shots in the air as he fled.
No injuries have been reported.
The incident marked the latest in a string of robberies in Colorado Springs. Another 7-Eleven was robbed Friday and a Shell convenience store was hit by a robber last week.
