I’ve been in the workforce for 45 years. I’ve had jobs with publicly held companies and jobs in family businesses. I can say without a doubt that the jobs I’ve had within family businesses were the most miserable and frustrating times I’ve ever had. My bosses were either the owners, the owner’s wife or the owner’s children. If you are not family, you cannot win. I believe more and more intelligent and experienced White House staffers will see this for what it is and realize there’s no one listening to their ideas or concerns because they aren’t in the inner circle.
Ivanka Trump is unqualified for her new position in the White House, as is her husband. Her job will be to “advise” her father, the president. I am alarmed that our 70-year-old president is being “advised” by a35-year-oldand a 36-year-old who have never spent one minute as a public servant.
