Car crashes into west Denver house; driver arrested on suspicion of DUI

Five adults and a dog were displaced by the crash

A car crashed into a home in west Denver early Friday morning, displacing five adults and a dog.

One person at the house on the corner of South Knox Court and West Evans Avenue was taken to a hospital, according to the Denver Police Department. Police have taken the driver into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The American Red Cross has supplied emergency lodging for the adults.
