The Trump administration seems to be heading the way of the Asian dictatorial style of government, which our freedom-loving press here has long decried.

First, President Donald Trump blackballed the mainstream press because he did not like what they said about him. Then he threatened members of Congress to try to bully them into supporting his health care bill. And now his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, who have never held political or public office, are both official advisers to the president.

This smacks of the dictatorial regimes of Philippines, Indonesia and North Korea. Can we still describe our country as the greatest democracy in the world ?
