Boulder County Sheriff’s Office investigators on Saturday evening remained at the scene of a residence in the Kuhlmann neighborhood of unincorporated Boulder County where the bodies of two men and one woman were discovered earlier in the day.

“We are investigating this as a triple homicide,” sheriff’s office Cmdr. Mike Wagner said on Saturday evening.

Wagner said preliminary investigation suggests all three bodies suffered trauma, but he did not have any additional information on what kind of trauma or what transpired in the home.

“It’s too early to speculate on circumstances or if any suspects are at large or not,” Wagner said. “We will work to try to figure out what likely happened and if we should be looking for suspects (or suspect) or not.”

He added that the Boulder County Coroner’s Office will release the names of the dead people once they have been legally identified.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence at 800 Divide View Drive at about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to conduct a welfare check on a resident who had not been seen in several days.
