A Fremont County Sheriff’s Office detective, who is being investigated by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for keeping bloody evidence in a storage unit, has retired.

Robert Dodd officially retired Sunday after 25 years of service, sheriff’s office聽public information officer Megan Richards said in an email Monday.
