One person died and another person was taken to a local hospital with injuries suffered in a two-car crash in Thornton.
The crash happened at about 7 p.m. near the intersection of York Street and E-470, police said.

York Street has been closed in both directions and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
