Re: April 26 news story.

I am very sad that Arturo Hernandez Garcia has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and I request his release. Arturo is a much more positive, friendly and generous person than he appears to be in his photo in The Denver Post. I visited him with my granddaughter most Friday mornings while he was in sanctuary at the First Unitarian Society in Denver. We became friends. He was generous with the skills and the resources that he has. Nearly every time I visited him he was engaged in a project to improve the building, whether it was paining a stairwell or installing tile in a utility closet. Arturo is an important support to his family. His wife and two children need him. He has been making a contribution to our community through his work. We should not be making him leave our country.
